How It Works

 

The process to getting up and running with MobiData is really simple.

First things first…Order a free SIM

Enter your details into our online form and press send. If you order before 2pm, we’ll pop a SIM in the post by the end of day.

 

We’ll send your SIM to you via first class Royal Mail completely free so you can get up and running as quickly as possible.

Next…Activate your SIM

Go to our activation page and choose the plan which suits you best. You can either choose one of our standard MobiData plans or choose our free plan, which is a 3 month free trial.

 

When you activate your SIM you’ll need your SIM number (found on the back of your SIM carrier) and credit or debit card details.

 

Even if you want our free trial we still need you card details in case you incur any overage or international charges.

 

In order for our system to verify you as a customer, no matter which plan you choose, we need to make a £1 authorisation. This is not a payment. (This will be automatically refunded to you).

Activate your SIM

 

Then… Set up your device

In order for your new SIM to work in your device you just need to make sure that you’ve got all the right settings set up.

  1. Enable Mobile Data
  2. Enable Data Roaming (only necessary when you’re using MobiData abroad)
  3. Set up your APN
